Intensive Outpatient Services

Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS)

Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS)

Recovery Connections’ Integrative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides 6–9 hours per week of structured, evidence-based treatment for individuals seeking support for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our program is designed for adults who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy, while maintaining work, family, and community responsibilities.

Our integrative model combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Skills (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed approaches to address the root causes of addiction and emotional distress. Clients participate in group and individual sessions focused on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, trauma recovery, shame resilience, interpersonal effectiveness, and rebuilding a meaningful, values-driven life.

At Recovery Connections, we believe sustainable recovery happens in safe, supportive relationships. We work collaboratively with each client to create personalized treatment plans that strengthen coping skills, build insight, and foster long-term resilience.

The purpose of Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) is to provide individuals and families with the necessary services and resources to foster recovery, rehabilitation, empowerment, and resilience. Community support activities focus on specific goals within the following functional areas: independent living, learning, working, socializing, and recreation.

CCSS aims to offer services in the client's community environments, which include educational settings, workplaces, living spaces, and other locations that play a crucial role in developing positive daily functioning skills.

CCSS supports clients by connecting them with the services they need to achieve their treatment plan goals, offering assistance during crises, and providing overall support to help clients develop or enhance their abilities to make informed and independent choices.

Substance Use

Substance Use

Substance Use Disorder is a chronic, progressive condition that affects the mind, body, relationships, and sense of self. When left unaddressed, it can slowly erode the emotional, relational, and spiritual foundations of an individual’s life. At Recovery Connections, we understand that addiction is not simply a behavior problem — it is often a response to pain, trauma, disconnection, and unmet needs.

We specialize in the treatment of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders through an integrative, trauma-informed approach. Our work goes beyond symptom management. We help individuals explore and heal the internal roots of substance use — including shame, trauma, anxiety, depression, and unresolved life experiences — while also addressing external factors such as relationships, environment, stressors, and community influences.

Through evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, IFS, Motivational Interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies, we collaborate with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan that supports sustainable recovery. When appropriate, we also involve family members and natural supports to strengthen accountability, understanding, and long-term connection.

At Recovery Connections, we believe recovery is not just about stopping substance use — it is about rebuilding identity, restoring relationships, and creating a life grounded in connection, peace, and purpose.

Trauma & PTSD

Depression & Anxiety

Substance Use

Painful and traumatic experiences can leave lasting psychological, emotional, and even physical effects. Anxiety, depression, anger, flashbacks, shame, numbness, and dissociation are common trauma responses — not personal weaknesses. These symptoms often reflect the nervous system’s attempt to survive overwhelming experiences.

At Recovery Connections, we provide integrative, trauma-informed care designed to help you safely process and heal from past experiences. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other trauma-focused therapies, we support you in understanding your story, regulating emotional responses, and restoring a sense of safety within yourself.

We believe healing from trauma happens in the context of connection. Our commitment is to walk beside you in a collaborative, respectful therapeutic relationship that fosters resilience, self-leadership, and lasting transformation.

Depression & Anxiety

Depression, fear, and anxiety are among the most common — and most disruptive — emotional experiences individuals face. When left unaddressed, they can impact motivation, relationships, work, physical health, and one’s overall sense of purpose and identity.

At Recovery Connections, we understand that these experiences are not signs of weakness, but signals that something within needs care, support, and understanding. Through integrative, evidence-based counseling and meaningful therapeutic connection, we help individuals restore emotional balance, strengthen coping skills, and regain perspective.

Our goal is not simply symptom reduction — it is helping you rediscover stability, resilience, and the capacity to fully participate in your life with clarity, confidence, and renewed joy.

At Recovery Connections, we believe that healing and recovery should be accessible to every individual seeking support for substance use and mental health concerns. Barriers such as transportation, work schedules, childcare responsibilities, health limitations, or geographic distance should never prevent someone from receiving quality care.

Our secure telehealth platform provides access to comprehensive, evidence-based substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment from the comfort and safety of your own environment. Through virtual individual sessions, group therapy, and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), clients receive the same integrative, trauma-informed care we provide in person.

Telehealth allows us to meet you where you are — physically and emotionally — while maintaining flexibility and clinical effectiveness. Sessions are scheduled collaboratively at times that support both your responsibilities and your recovery goals.

At Recovery Connections, we walk beside you — whether in our office or through a screen — because meaningful connection is the foundation of lasting recovery.
