Kevin received a bachelor’s degree in psychology (addiction counseling concentration) from the University of New Mexico, and a master’s degree in social work from New Mexico Highland University. Kevin has worked in the substance use and mental health field for seven years as peer support specialist, LSAA, and currently holds a LADAC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor and LMSW (Licensed Masters in Social Work) license. Kevin’s passion and commitment to serving people struggling with substance use and mental health concerns is rooted in lived experience, and the belief that hope, healing, and recovery from trauma, substance use, and mental health concerns takes place in the context of connection. Kevin believes in forming a genuine connection with clients and assisting them addressing the root causes of distress, and empowering clients to exercise their strengths and implement skills that fosters healthy connection with self and others; enabling the client to reach their full potential and successfully recover from substance abuse and mental health disorders. Kevin’s approach to counseling is holistic, client-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. Kevin practices several treatment modalities depending on the unique strengths and needs of each client. Kevin is trained in various evidenced-based modalities (trauma-informed CBT, Cognitive processing, DBT, interpersonal processing, internal family systems, mindfulness (client-centered mindfulness and spiritual practices), motivational enhancement therapy, solution-focused, and 12-step facilitation).

Jade Sánchez (she/Ella) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC), and a Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) in the state of New Mexico, where she has worked in the behavioral health field since 2014. She graduated with a dual major in Spanish and Psychology from the University of New Mexico, and a Masters in Social Work from Western New Mexico University. Jade is a bilingual, bicultural and binational woman of color. Jade’s roots has allowed her to connect with her Latine monolingual Spanish community.
She is an advocate for social justice which includes, reproductive and transformative justice, culture shift, and families impacted and/or separated by systems (CPS and immigration systems, among others).
Jade enjoys working through a strength-based, trauma-informed, abolitionist lens, using Mindfulness, EMDR and somatic awareness skills to support clients in working through trauma and substance use. She finds purpose and connection when working with women, families, adolescents, the recovering population, queer, LGBTQ+, and any communities of color. She finds joy being outside, practicing traditional healing methods, spending time with her partner Fernando, and children. Her favorite things to do are get treats from the Michoacana and watch TikTok.
